Face book is an internet based social network
connecting people worldwide. Everybody having internet connection may have
access to it. Face book nowadays contributes much to maintain social and
friendly relationship between people living far and near. Any person wishing to
be a face book member needs to have an internet connection and then to sign up
with personal details and secrete passwords to ensure privacy and security. Any
person can search for their friends as well as near and dear once on-line. If
the invitation is once accepted, they become friends and can share everything
of each other and stored in their face book. Face book allows us to make
numerous albums and upload photos and document and make friendship with a lot
of people. Any face book member can write comments on their status, on other
member’s status and photos etc. face book provides on-line chatting as well.
With the help of face book, we can easily find out long lost friends as well as
near and dear ones. Who are already face book members. It can be used to raise awareness
and share ideas among the members. However, face book has some disadvantage as
well. Crooked people may upload obscene and objectionable photos and comments.
Pimps and touts also use face book so as to hunt clients. Besides these
negative aspects, face book is a great boon to the present day-life.
Drug addiction
Drug addiction is a social problem. But it is no
longer a problem of any specific society. It has become a global issue. The
number of drug addicts has increased all over the world. Especially in the
under -developed countries the picture is very alarming. Many young people have
become addicted to drug in our country. Reasons for this addiction are many. Of
them political unrest, unemployment, lack of family ties are some of the main
reasons which make them addicted to drugs. Out of complete frustration they
become drugs addicts. Once anybody takes to this habit he can hardly give it
up. Many young people who suddenly become drug addicts find difficult times to
buy the costly drugs marketed by the organized drug dealers. When their
financial sources to buy drugs become exhausted, they commit many social
crimes. These crimes include looting, hijacking, killing, robbery and addiction.
Drug addicts also become a burden for the society. They never enjoy sound
health and become crippled, in most cases die, very shortly .Drug have serious
impacts on the human main body. It is a serious national issue of utmost importance.
The government, the police, the local civil administration, the political
parties the parents and the common people must respond to the issue with
concerted efforts to stop this fatal practice among the young generation of the
country.
